Our editorial purpose
Gamehai publishes analysis and independent reviews that help readers understand the choices, evidence and consequences behind American sports. Accuracy, clarity and usefulness take priority over speed or search traffic.
Story labels
News reports establish verified facts. Analysis interprets those facts and shows the reasoning behind a conclusion. Reviews evaluate a product, service or fan experience using a disclosed method. Opinion reflects an identified author’s argument. Sponsored material, if accepted, is labeled and kept separate from independent editorial judgment.
Sourcing and verification
Writers should use primary sources whenever possible, including official records, league or team announcements, filings, direct interviews and original data. Anonymous sourcing requires editorial approval. Significant claims should be corroborated, attributed and linked when a reliable public source exists.
Independence and conflicts
Advertisers, affiliate partners, teams, leagues and product makers do not receive approval rights over independent coverage. Writers must disclose relevant financial, professional or personal conflicts before assignment.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Meaningful updates receive an updated timestamp or editor’s note. Gamehai does not change dates merely to make an old story appear new. See our Corrections Policy.
AI and automation
Automation may assist with research organization, transcription, formatting, accessibility or production, but it does not replace accountable human editorial review. See our AI and Automation Policy.
